About Bihar Board of Open Schooling and Examination (BBOSE) The Bihar Board of Open Schooling and Examination (BBOSE) is an autonomous educational organisation established by the Education Department, Government of Bihar in February 2011 with the objective of expanding access to flexible and inclusive education across the state. BBOSE was established to provide learners with an alternative pathway to formal schooling through the open and distance learning system. Its approach is particularly beneficial for students and learners who are unable to pursue education through conventional schools because of personal, professional, geographical, financial, or other circumstances. As a Government-registered society under the Societies Registration Act, BBOSE works towards creating wider educational opportunities for learners in Bihar. The organisation focuses on making secondary and senior secondary education more accessible while allowing students greater flexibility in choosing their learning pace and study schedule.p>
